It Was A Nurse....

 

It was a nurse 
Who saved my arm
When it was in pieces 
She sought to mend it 
Before it became infected 
Many times we take nurses for granted 
But should we?
These persons neglect their own lives 
To take care of us 
To be that kind ear 
Sit with us 
And pray with us 
They always have a smile on their face 
Even when they are not happy 
They take happiness in the fact 
You will have a speedy recovery 
It was a nurse 
Who listened 
To me ranting about my pain 
Asking what is my diagnosis
IT WAS A NURSE who boldly declared 
"To God Be The Glory !"
It was a nurse who held me 
When I felt lost with the diagnosis 
When the snot ran down my nose 
When I had an awful case of sore throat 
When I got my 1st injection 
It was a nurse on every occasion 
This nurse has been a source of light 
For all who seek medical help
It was a nurse who made sure that I could live 
When I was an infant 
People take nurses for granted 
But me ..
I honor and respect them 
Because it was a nurse who was their with me in every situation 
I owe that nurse a lot of gratitude 
As she is such a kind woman
